The thrust bearing, as the only part bearing axial load, is extremely important in vertical hydroelectric generating units. Its working condition directly affects safe and reliable operation of unit. However, during operation, oil film easily damaged under influence complex factors. Installation deviation a key point that can cause temperature pressure changes film, affecting force on bearing. This article takes model 1000 MW Francis turbine unit Baihetan Power Station research object.
